Galerie HANS

Mathias F. Hans has more than 25 years’ experience as an art dealer. He specialized at an early stage in paintings and freehand drawings from the 16th through 19th centuries. He is a connoisseur with a fine flair for repeatedly bringing new discoveries to the attention of art historians. Once experts have examined these works, Mathias F. Hans puts them on show at regular public exhibitions held at his Jungfernstieg 34 gallery in Hamburg, Germany and other fine, well known galleries throughout the world.

The gallery has a stock of works by artists of the German, English, Italian, French, Dutch, and Flemish schools. They include paintings, drawings, and prints by well-known artists such as Albrecht Dürer, Philips Koninck, Carel Fabritius, Jacob Philip Hackert, Caspar David Friedrich, Carl Gustav Carus, Johan Christian Dahl, Edgar Degas, and Edouard Vuillard.
